The Diary of the Naughtiest Girl
Jeanne Willis, Alex T. Smith
Inspired by Enid Blyton’s bestselling school series The Naughtiest Girl – this is the hilarious diary of the naughtiest pupil there’s ever been. Fans of Tom Gates will love this!
‘Mum says pupils aren’t allowed to take mobile devices to Whyteleafe … excuse me? It’s the twenty-first century! What next? Ride to school on a penny-farthing?’
When Elizabeth Allen is packed off to boarding school, armed with nothing but a journal to write in for entertainment, she is NOT impressed. How will she survive without her home comforts, especially her pony Ross (the only boy she has ever truly loved)? Elizabeth comes up with a cunning plan: she will be so naughty that she gets sent home . . .
But then Elizabeth discovers a love for music and makes her first ever friend … perhaps school life might not be as bad as she thought?
The Diary of the Naughtiest Girl is written by bestselling author Jeanne Willis and illustrated by Alex T. Smith, acclaimed creator of the Claude books.

I like Mousie because she’s very nice and comforting. I would recommend this book to other people because it’s a very interesting book. I like books which have diary entries so I love this book.

I wasn’t keen on this book because I found it a bit rude and a bit naughty. I find her a bit too mischievous.

This book was my favorite out of all the books I read! My favourite character was the naughtiest girl as she sort of gave the book more interest. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!

I loved it because it was so funny - I laughed off my seat! I liked Elizabeth Allen best because; 1; She pinned a TAIL onto Kesi and she walked into Tesco wearing it! 2; She helped Mousie (Joanna) to find some friends. 3; She spent £50 on presents for Joanna.

It is about a girl called Elisabeth Allen who is really naughty but she goes to a school called Whytleafe which is an amazing school but she does not fit in because she is rude. Her parents go to Africa and leave her in Whyteleafe boarding school. In the end she finds her place.

This book is very much like Malory Towers. It is set in a boarding school. The main character doesn’t like boarding.

I liked Mousie because she changed Elizabeths mind. I recommend it to people who like laughing.

I liked this book a lot, Elizabeth Allen, the main character, is very funny ad entertaining. Sometimes I would get a bit bored of the same kind of entries, but that can make it more realistic. I recommend this book to cheeky kids!
Mademoiselle Aphrodite Spaghetti-Hoops 12.08.2020

I loved this book and it was fun and awesome for there were many characters and there was a jury completely run by kids. I liked Elizabeth because she was the main character and kept getting told off! Without a doubt I would 100% recommend it to someone else.

Fairy Daffodil Quest 23.07.2020

I would recommend this book because it is gripping and funny. The main character has a hard time at first but then finds a new best friend. It kept my attention because it was written in diary entries by a girl about my age.

I just love this book it was incredible and so inspirational and made me want to write my own diary of my life. My favourite character was Elizabeth of course. I like her because she is so sweet and the next moment she is unbelievably stubborn and rude. I would definitely recommend this to somebody else who likes the classic naughtiest girl series written by Enid Blyton. Princess birthday-cake elephant :):):):):)
