Reviews

I love this book because it's full of mysteries and puzzles. My favourite character is Lottie Lipton, a 9 year old detective who lives in the British Museum. She lives with her uncle, Bertram West, after her parents died on a dig in Egypt. In this book a famous treasure hunter, Lady Viola Kirton, is after the priceless Eagle of Rome and sell it! Lottie is terrified and sets out with her friends to find it first but will they? I rate this book for people 5 and over because it's enjoyable at any age! All in all it is my favourite book in the series and I am sure you will like it too!

I loved this book because it is a mystery book and I love them type. You have to find out the clues and find out if you got them right on the next page. It is is very fun to do that. This book is very good.

I love the fact that Lady Viola Kirton pretended that she was nice, but really, she was despicable, only wanting the Eagle of Of Rome for herself to have the money and even more fame. I was intrigued by all the clues in the book that not only they people in the people in the book had to solve, but you could too! I managed to solve three of the puzzles but I was stuck on the first one. Not only does it have a mystery, but it is also factual, because it tells you facts about the missing treasures from the past, and in this one it had a few facts about the Romans, and about The Eagle Of Rome! One of my favourite characters in this book is Lottie, because you never know what will happen when she's around!
