I thought that this book was very confusing because I didn't understand the part when Ruby's step dad won the sports complex competition. I liked Billie Bright the best because of how she pulled of her brother Gabriel's wedding and because she is very brave. I would recommend this book to someone.

I liked this book because the girl was worried about making new friends as she was going into yr 7. She wrote letters to her mum, who had passed away. Her favourite hero was her mum. It was a great non fiction read and I would recommend it because it's exciting and makes you think about what year 7 could be like.
