Written by former Children’s Laureate and beloved writer Michael Rosen, and illustrated by the unbeatably talented David Tazzyman, this laugh-out-loud collection of poetry is full to brim with giggles, tickles and belly-laughs to make you wiggle!

Often slapstick and sometimes sentimental, this gorgeously goofy collection of poetry is a gift for all ages. Perfect for reading aloud, it is an introduction to the joy of poetry and the fun of witty wordplay. With tongue twisters like “it took Tootie two toothpicks to pick two teeth too,” and cheeky observations that children are sure to adore (“When people want me to be quiet / they shout ‘Be quiet!’ very loudly”), this treasury is destined to become an instant family favourite and a future classic for children in years to come.

Also available: Mustard, Custard, Grumble Belly and Gravy.

I loved its rhymes. I mostly loved its doggy rhymes. Down by the dustbin I met a dog called Peter. It's really cold today, can you turn on the heater.

This book is funny and i love the poems. The author has great ideas. All the poems are funny because when you read them out laugh the rhymes are great. The pictures are beautiful. My favourite one is Welly boots, smelly boots, fill them up with jelly boots. Welly boots, smelly boots, see them on the telly boots. Welly boots, smelly boots, now there in my belly boots.
