I really enjoyed this book because it scared me and I like to be scared. Also I liked it when Jacob's father was turning into a hound. I really like the character Ravira because she was spooky with a green face and old wrinkly hands. I would recommend this book to my friends because I think they'll be spooked out.

My thoughts are it is a bit sad when the father turned into a dog but fun other wise.It is fiction and my favourite character is the king that turned into a evil dog because he tries to hurt his son but he can't.I would recommend it because there is stuff you won't expect.
