Schooldays at St Clare's are never dull for twins Pat and Isabel O'Sullivan in Enid Blyton's much-loved boarding school series. In book eight, the girls are in the fifth form, about to reach the sixth, but they are not too old for tricks and escapades, jokes and excitement. Especially amusing is French girl Antoinette who, like her sister Claudine, doesn't always understand the ways of St. Clare's. Expect more mischief at St Clare's! Between 1941 and 1946, Enid Blyton wrote six novels set at St Clare's. This edition features the original text and is unillustrated.

The book is about Pat and Isabel O’Sullivan, who are going back to their boarding school for the winter term of their fifth year at St Clare’s.There’s one new girl , one girl who is coming up from the fourth, and a girl who is going down from the sixth. Then, there’s another excitement (the girls think),they’re going to have studies this year! But tempers are fraying and exams and some silly, unpopular new girls definitely didn’t make things any better. This book is super! Would recommend it.

It is really good! It is fiction. My favourite character is Antoinette (Claudine's sister and Mamzelle's niece) because she is very smart and cheeky. She is also a daredevil like her sister Claudine. I would recommend it to someone else.

Really funny because Angela and Anne-Marie are in love with Miss Willcox until Anne-Marie plays a trick on her which gets the English teacher sacked because she hated a girl in the class.

In the fifth form the girls have a big exam. They are nearly in sixth form. And who is to be the head girl next term? With Anne-Marie the poet, with Feilcity playing her music and Miss Willcox the new English teacher who Anne-Marie and Alison adore. Also Mirabel is the games captain of he whole school. The girl's are going to have some fun this term.Recommend age 8+.Really good.
