"The Mystery of the Missing Man" by Enid Blyton is the thirteenth book in The Find-Outers series and it is a thrilling read. The story revolves around a missing man, Mr. Hollands, who disappears mysteriously leaving behind a huge sum of money. The Find-Outers, a group of children who love solving mysteries, get involved in the case and start investigating. The story takes place in a small town called Peterswood, where the Find-Outers live. The town is described vividly, with its narrow streets, quaint shops, and friendly people. The author's attention to detail is impressive, and it helps the reader visualize the town and its surroundings. As the investigation progresses, the Find-Outers encounter several suspects, each with a motive to harm Mr. Hollands. They use their intelligence and deductive skills to gather clues and make deductions. The plot is well-crafted and keeps the reader engaged throughout the book. The characters are well-developed, and each has a unique personality. Fatty, the leader of the Find-Outers, is intelligent and resourceful. The other members of the group, Pip, Larry, Daisy, and Bets, all contribute to the investigation in their own way. The author's portrayal of the children is realistic and relatable. Overall, "The Mystery of the Missing Man" is a great read for anyone who loves mystery novels. The plot is intriguing, the characters are likable, and the setting is well-described. Enid Blyton has once again proven herself to be a master storyteller.

I think it is a really good and adventurous book that mystery lovers would like. There are 15 books in the series all written by Enid Blyton. My favourite character in this book was, Fatty. I would really, really recommend this book because as soon as I started to read it I just couldn't stop. I would also recomend this book because it has interesting vocabulary so if you have to write a story at school you can but in really descriptive words like, Boring or plane is used as bland.
