I liked it because it was about 9 years old girl who was a detective and was super clever. She met a boy who helped her figure out a case.

I really liked this book and I think my favourite character was John ( Watson ) and because I am a huge dog lover I really enjoyed it. It also appeals to everyone reading that book. Cause it was about moving houses and friendship many people would have a lot in common with that ( unlike me ).

I really liked Shelby because she is a lot like me (very inquisitive and logical and reads a lot) although I`ve always liked the way John convinced Shelby she needed a friend. I really like the way Elizabeth Eulberg has adapted Sherlock Holmes to make it kid friendly but still caught the essence of the original. i would really recommend it.

It is amazing! I love detective stories but get a bit bored reading Sherlock Holmes. Instead I read Shelby Holmes. It's like Sherlock but 100000000x better. My favourite character of all time is Shelby I mean who doesn't. She is freakishly smart. Hope you love it as much as I do.

In the book The Great Shelby Holmes: Girl Detective, my favourite character was Shelby Holmes because she knew stuff about people without asking them.Also she made a great detective when Daisy the dog went missing... I was in the library looking at the Mischief Makers stand when I saw the book and it had a sticker on the book saying Animal Agents.Also I love animals so thats why it interested me. I would definitely recommend this book to someone else especially animal lovers. That was my review on The Great Shelby Holmes: Girl Detective.

I am a student . I read in 6th standard . I have to read a lot of story books . I this book is great . It has helped me a lot to increase my vocabulary. The story is amazing. It has also helped me to know a new format of detective writing.Thanks to this book that I got edexel high achivement awards in 5th standard. I think everyone should try to read this book.

It's a good book but the reason why I put 4 stars is because it seems abit unnatural. Apart from that its good,funny and book u will enjoy the book between the ages of 10-14

My request is that children should and should not read this book because it is a mystery book,kids love mystery books an i'ts a little bit boring i don't think you agree but when you read it you get used to it so it's very annoying.
