Reviews

Initially, I found this book a little boring, but in the end, it turned out to be a well crafted masterpiece. Fire Colour One, talks about a Iris, a girl who battles with life and lights fires to release her anger - an arsonist some might say. One day, her mother, Hannah receives news that her husband Ernest is dying. Of course, it has been 13? 14? years since she's seen him, but Ernest is rich, and she isn't, so along with her new partner and Iris, they journey to see him. Iris, has little recollection of her father, but when they meet a bond is formed and all the lies come to the surface, but is it too late and can the fire be stopped before anyone gets hurt? Mainly for older readers, this is a passionate 5 star novel about (as they say) love, lies and redemption.
