Nat’s class is going on a week-long field trip to hunt for fossils. Cue mouldy log cabins, potholing, map reading and other totally boring geography-related stuff – all the things that Nat hates… and Dad loves! Of course he volunteers to come along with the class as a parent helper. Normally Nat would strictly forbid Dad’s attendance BUT he’s finally applied for a ‘proper’ job – teaching survival skills to juvenile delinquents – which she really wants him to get, as it will keep him busy and stop him interfering in her life! If all goes well on this trip, he’ll definitely get the job. it was really really hilarious whith a lot of mischief and disaster . i liked penny the most because she's always on the bright side life.i would recomend it to 8 and over as there are a lot of words.

I liked it because it was so funny to see all of the embarrassing things that Nat's dad did. My favourite character was Darius.

This book was really funny funny, with lots of twists and turns toward the end. The main character seems a bit whiny at the beginning but you end up warming to her! Good for 9+ readers.

This is a great fiction book with some hilarious catastrophes. I’d recommend it to anyone who is between 8 and 12 and enjoys humorous books.

Darius is on the run again. He wins an essay competition and wins his class a camping trip. How on earth did he win. Oh Nathalia! What a kind girl she was. A rich school comes on the trip too. Whatever does happen on this expedition. Wait and you will find out!
