The Kitten Hunt is a fiction book. My favourite character was Kaboodle the kitten. Kaboodle was black and white and had a little black nose. The characters are Kaboodle, Bertie, Jazz, Bertie's dad, Pinkella, Mr Smythe Some parts are a little bit scary to me. Like when the characters shout angrily at each other.

I liked this book because in the end Bertie gets a kitten of her own but Kaboodle the cat had to move away.

I think others should read this book because theirs a girl called Bertie and she really wants a pet but her dad won't let her have one. So she starts a pet sitting business and looks after this cat called Kaboodle.
