The 65-Storey Treehouse is the fifth book in Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton's wacky treehouse adventures, where the laugh-out-loud story is told through a combination of text and fantastic comic book-style illustrations. 'The kind of book I would have loved as a kid' – Tom Fletcher, author of The Danger Gang Andy and Terry's amazing 65-Storey Treehouse used to be 52 stories, but they keep expanding! Now it has a pet-grooming salon, a birthday room (where it's always your birthday, even when it's not), a room full of exploding eyeballs, a lollipop shop, a quicksand pit, an ant farm and a time machine . . . which is going to be really, really useful, since Terry messed up (again) and the treehouse just FAILED its safety inspection. Join Andy and Terry on a whirlwind trip through time as they try to stop the treehouse from being demolished! Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up! Climb more fun-filled levels by collecting all thirteen books in the seven million-copy-selling series – the perfect chapter books for reluctant readers.

I love the part when they went into their magical bin that took them back into time. They went back into Stone Age and nearly everything. They were supposed to be writing another story for Mr Big Nose t publish but they forgot all about it .Everytime they went back into the bin they were supposed to go back home but it took them somewhere else.

I liked this book because it was funny . They went time travelling in a bin and went through earth's past and future with a building inspector all thanks to terry. In the end they got their permit and successfuly got their book delivered on time. In my view, they will do anything to get their task; writing stories finished on time . My favourite character in this book would probably be Terry because if not for his creativity in building a time machine (in a bin!) they would have lost their treehouse.

I love this series because they go on funny adventures. Terry is my favourite because he’s the silliest of them all. In this they went time travelling in wheelie bin!

I thought it was as funny as usual, but I felt like there was just a little bit too much going on which resulted in my unusual four stars. It was still very good though and I did enjoy all the characters.

Exciting reading but a bit repetitive which is why I gave it one less star than the last one in the series. It was funny in places and does keep your interest. Looking forward to the next book.
