I like Rose because she has lots of courage. I would recommend this book to people who like mystery books and this one truly does keep you hooked until the very last act.

Overall, it is a very good book. Interesting and descriptive but very complicated. My favourite character was Rose as she is fun, rebellious and determined. It is about a Victorian music hall that orphan Rose lives in. Ned Dorset, a famous actor is murdered. Rose finds two friends, Aurora and Effie, who help her find out who murdered Ned and why, but it gradually unfolds to become way more complicated than it seems. I would definitely recommend it to someone who likes the Victorians' sense of danger and daring and for mystery lovers that have lots of space in their brain to store all the complexity. It's great for everyone who has a bit of rebel and cheek inside of them. Great book altogether!

I didn't enjoy this book as it didn't give me any sense of adrenaline when I was reading, and didn't make me want to read on.

This book is about a girl called Rose Campion who discovers something strange about one of their beloved actors when he tragically dies. If you're looking for a spine-tickling story where every clue counts to unravel the plot, this book is sure to tick all your boxes. I would recommend this story to people over the age of 9 as it has some scary, murderous chapter.
