From the author of bestselling debut NED’S CIRCUS OF MARVELS… Roll up, roll up, and prepare to be AMAZED AGAIN by Ned and the marvellous, magical, monstrous flying circus!

Ned and his family are trying to be ordinary except for the small fact that they AREN’T. AT ALL. Because on the run up to Christmas everything is ruined when all the world’s gold goes missing, along with its leading scientists. Which doesn’t really have anything to do with Ned… until it does. When an oily thief and his pet monster turn up at Ned’s door, Ned finds himself on the run again… and racing to find out what this new villain wants. Meanwhile, in the shadows, a machine with a mind of its own vies for power, and mysterious men in grey suits are watching the Circus of Marvels’ every move. Together with his best friend Lucy, his clockwork mouse and his shadow, Ned must use his growing magical powers to try to uncover a secret that could end them all…

This is a really good book for those that like Harry Potter, but I suggest that you should read the first book first. Like Harry Potter, it is full of dark plots and attempts to assassinate people. However, if you don’t mind that, you will thoroughly enjoy this book. Unfourtunately, it has the irritating end where you cant wait to read the next one. I’m desperately waiting to go to the library!!

Another deserved 5/5 I wish you could pick 6. The villain Barbarossa didn't succeed the first time. Aged 8+ because it's a great book but like the first one can be scary for small children.

This book is amazing! As I finished the first chapter I couldn't put the book down. It full of powerful magic and weird mysteries. I would recommend this book for 7 and above. It is about Ned (the engineer) who has his mother and father taken away from him. with the medics help he must save them from the terrible death. Will he succeed?

This is an amazing book. To be enjoyed by all ages....it's extremely exciting and I found it hard to put down. I would suggest reading the first book before starting this one but fortunately it still makes perfect sense without reading the first one. I would really suggest reading this book.
