Murphy was getting so annoyed because the other person was better than him. There was this wee boy who kept joking everyone and then he was out in the sea and everyone thought he would be joking but Murphy followed his instincts and saved the boy from danger.

This is a fiction book about a dog called Murphy who was training as a surf lifeguard. In his class he was joined by a new dog and they both tried to surf and save people. It was challenging for Murphy but he was helped by his new friend. Murphy was a very brave character in this book! I liked this book. It was a short but interesting read and I would recommend it to readers aged 7 years and over.

This is a great book for all puppy fans. Another great story from the Puppy Academy series by Gill Lewis. The book follows a group of puppies who are learning to become working dogs, including Murphy, Star, Scout and Pip. This story follows Murphy (the big one), who needs to gain his Surf Rescue badge.

I think it was brilliant. I think Murphy was brave and kind to everyone. I liked Murphy the best. It was not factual but it was based on Woking dogs. I would definitely recommend it to somebody else who likes animals.

My favourite part is when Murphy saves a young boy and he earns the medal of gallantry and he makes a friend called Rodrigo .

i really like this book because it is all about accomplishing your dreams and Murphy is trying to do that by becoming a surf rescue dog. but the only thing standing in his way is a very incredible surf rescue dog named Rodrigo that is what shakes up the competition. but when training started Murphy messed up by getting caught in the waves and nearly drowning he made a total fool of himself so Rodrigo had to save him and Murphy wasn't even sure he wanted to be a surf rescue dog anymore he was scared of the sea and never wanted to face it,until Rodrigo talks to him and Murphy feels confident so they both go out to sea and Rodrigo helps Murphy overcome the fear of the sea and wants Murphy to understand the sea isn't as bad as he thought it was. Murphy was sure that a little boy was in trouble so he swam out to see where a riptide was he fought and fought until he did it he saved the boy and he was announced the golden medallist Murphy had actually accomplished his dream

This fictional book is about how Murphy trains to be a surf rescuer and fails many times but finally achieves is Rodrigo because of his encouraging attitudes and great achievements. I would recommend this to someone who loves animal fantasy.
