Ordinary kids: extraordinary powers: amazing adventures. When Dax receives an urgent call, he knows he has to drop everything and race to the aid of his friends. But that’s not as easy as it sounds. Strange things are happening – unbelievable occurrences that seem to be following Dax and his friends wherever they go. And that’s not all that’s after them . . . Government agents are stalking their every move – tracking them down. The very people who are supposed to be protecting them seem to be the biggest threat. Who can they trust? Where should they run? Each of the friends must call upon their special powers to try to outwit their pursuers – but will these abilities spell the end for them all?
With appeal for both boys and girls, this is a fast-paced action adventure about contemporary children with super powers, told with award-winning Ali Sparkes’s humour and lightness of touch. Perfect for fans of Alex Rider, Robert Muchamore’s CHERUB series, and Young Bond.

Kind of scary at first I think but also cool.

I think it contrasts from the books before it in the series because in the first two they are mostly safe at school but in this one they are on the run.

This book is very cool. I don't like Catherine, but Luke, Dax , Lisa,Mia and Gideon are cool. I would recommend it to other 10-? Year old. Anyone younger probably wouldn't understand it.

Kind of boring, but loved the secret about owen and the reunion of Dax and his best friend, Clive. I love the twist about Catherine and Luke and the college sounds beautiful but really safe. I really liked the part when Clive comes and explains calmly that he had been tracking Dax even though it was not the thing to be calm about.

This book is probably the best, most exciting book I've read in this series. it's about Dax Jones and he's run away with a few friends. He has to use the skills Owen has taught him.But can he survive? My favourite character is Dax because he wants every one of his to survive. I would recommend it to 9 and over.

I liked the main character Dax best, because he is brave, kind and helpful. In this book he has to help his friends but there are sinister forces trying to undermine him. I would recommend it to someone else, but they would have to read the first and second book before staring this one.
