The Land of Stories: Beyond the Kingdoms: Book 4
Chris Colfer
Fairy tales are just the beginning.
The Masked Man is on the loose in the Land of Stories, and it’s up to Alex and Conner Bailey to stop him . . . except Alex has been thrown off the Fairy Council, and no one will believe they’re in danger.
With only the help of the ragtag group of Goldilocks, Jack, Red Riding Hood, and Mother Goose and her gander, Lester, the Bailey twins discover the Masked Man’s secret scheme: he possesses a powerful magic potion that turns every book it touches into a portal, and he is recruiting an army of literature’s greatest villains!
So begins a race through the magical Land of Oz, the fantastical world of Neverland, the madness of Wonderland, and beyond. Can Alex and Conner catch up to the Masked Man, or will they be one step behind until it’s too late?
Fairy tales and classic stories collide in the fourth adventure in the bestselling Land of Stories series as the twins travel beyond the kingdoms!

Great book. Mixing with some other fairy tale classics was brilliant. Befriending the main characters of other stories and defeating the terrible tyrants of other tales was awesome.

I love the book because it is the continuation of the adventures of Alex and Conner Bailey. and how the power of love and kindness can cast out all spells and curses.

It was a bit romantic when Mother Goose wanted stay with Merlin but I was disappointed that she didn't go home with Alex. I liked the Tin Woodman, Peter Pan, the Lost Boys and all the other friends they made whilst travelling through the books to find the Masked Man. I would recommend this series to all ages

It is about twins called Alex and Conner. They chase the masked man through different fictional stories using a portal potion the late fairy godmother made for him.

I thought it was a bit sad because at the end it does not say that the twins succeeds or loses against Lloyd, I liked the Lost Boys because they were so funny, It interested me because it had so many other stories in it like King Arthur or Robin Hood, I would recommend this book to someone else because it is like it gets pictured in your head the moment you start reading the book.

I really liked this book just like all the rest in the series my favourite character was probably again Red or Conner and I definitely recommend these books to anyone who wants to be on the edge of there seat with a box of tissues at hand while reading like it says on the back of the book Chris Colfer’s books have more magic than Disney has ever dreamed of and not only magic as in spells and potions but in friendship and love and togetherness. I love these books and hope this review makes you love them too
