In Who’s Bad and Who’s Good, Little Red Riding Hood? our red-cloaked heroine is ready to set off with a basket of delicious cakes to Grandma’s house. ‘Be good, and don’t talk to strangers,’ Little Red Riding Hood’s mum reminds her, ‘and if a stranger does talk to you, yell, run and tell!’ On the way, Little Red Riding Hood bumps into a wolf, who tries to speak to her. Immediately remembering her mum’s wise words, Little Red Riding Hood shouts and runs away. She keeps running until she meets an adorable fluffy-tailed bunny rabbit, who she tells all about her dreadful encounter with the wolf. The lovely bunny offers to escort Little Red Riding Hood to her Grandma’s house to keep her safe, all the while asking lots of questions about Grandma. He even offers to carry her basket of cakes!

I liked the grandma because she was brave and tell Little Red Riding Hood that the wolf was not a stranger.

Interesting spin on the original story to make children aware of stranger danger.

I initially thought that the wolf had actually eated grandma. Sometimes people who look scary are good and those who look nice are bad.

I like this book because little red riding hood is safe at last. The wolf didn't eat a single person.

Firstly, I thought the wolf was the bad one but actually it was the rabbit. The rabbit got caught by the police. I would recommend the book to my friends.

Because it teaches you that you can’t always tell who is bad and who is good.

I liked this book because it was nice that the wolf was a friend of Grandma, and Little Red Riding Hood thought the wolf was bad and the rabbit was good, but it was the other way around!
