Big Nate Goes for Broke (US edition)

My favourite person is Big Nate. It was really funny and I would recommend it to someone else

A very good[some would say brilliant] book full of humour and everyday life. My favourite character was Dee-Dee as she is vfery overdramatic and helped a lot at the end. A highly recommended book.

Big Nate: Goes For Broke is about a boy called Nate Wright who goes to P.S 38 Middle School. He thinks he belongs to the best club in his school by a mile. Judging by what these other clubs, Nate definitely belongs to the best club. Even if you see for yourself at the so called competition Nate's club has. By the way, Nate's club are called the Doodlers if you didn't know. This is the comparison : Knit Pickers, Wizards & Witches, Problem Solvers, Spotlight Club and School Beautification Society. There, you decide for yourself. P.S 38 have arch rivals and that is Jefferson Middle School. During the very icy weather, Chad (one of Nate's friends) slips on the slippery floor and hurts his tailbone. From now on, Chad has to carry a medical doughnut wherever he goes to help him sit down. One day during the school disco Randy Betancourt (one of the P.S 38 bullies) steals Nate's disco clothes but luckily Dee-Dee came to the rescue with an extra disco costume. As well as this the sprinklers leaked and the teachers only realized this when the alarm went off as they were too busy stuffing their faces with food. Sooner or later, everybody was evacuating. Fortunately but Unfortunately, they were not going school at P.S 38 ,as it sprung a leak, instead at Jefferson Middle School! Nolan(who is one of the bullies at Jefferson) starts picking on Chad because of the injury on his butt. Because Jefferson Middle School always win at everything they do against P.S 38, Nate decides to put them to the test in The Ultimate Snowdown. Nate thinks he found their Achilles Heel, creativity! Let's hope Nate is right to help his school find victory.

I really liked the book becausethe book was about another school was the best at winning P.S 38 [nates school]so they did a snow scupture but the other school cheated so P.S 38 won the game.I really enjoyed the bok it was facinating.

This book is very funny and if you like Diary of a Wimpey Kid, Tom Gates or Dork Diaries, then is the perfect book to read next. It is a diary written by a boy in Middle school called Nate who always gets detention and ideas never seem to work. It is a short book, but it is jam packed with humor.
