Cogheart is an amazing book. It left me on the edge of my seat every time I came to a new chapter! I would say that my favourite character would be Lily because she is caught up in a huge web of lies every where that she turns and honestly I feel sorry for her. Her supposedly trust worthy god father does everything he can do to get his hands on the Cogheart and even tries to cut her stomach open and take it out of her. I would recommend this book to children about 9or over because unless you like gory books then this might not be for you.

It was ok, but not the best book. My favourite character was Malkin the mechanical fox. I would recommend this book to 10-14 year olds.

My thoughts were that in the book electricity is an new so I wonder what it would have been like without it. It was fiction and my favourite characters is Lily and Robert.

I loved this book, especially as I have read the second one (moon locket) and cried at the sad bit. At least I knew that it was going to happen.

The book was an excellent steam punk story for younger readers. The storyline rolled along quite nicely and had the main characters in mild peril at more than one point. The book left me waiting at the end to see what happened next. So much so that I would like to read the next in the series.

This was an incredible book. It might have been a bit sad at points but it was a really fun read. They're are a lot of complicated words. Don't read it if you're scared of gorey stuff!

Cogs and chronometers, this book is brilliant! After a quite emotional start, it really picks up and is very enjoyable. I love the fast-paced adventurous plot and its intriguing characters. My favourite character is Robert Townsend, who is one of the main characters. This book is very exciting and I like it! I would definitely recommend it to people who are interested in machines, history(the 1800s) and adventure plots!
