Sweet Pizza
G.R. Gemin
Joe loves his Italian heritage: the language, the opera, the lasagne! But it’s hard to celebrate his Italian roots in Bryn Mawr, South Wales, where his mam is sick of running the family’s tatty cafe. Joe vows to save the family business, and to spice up the tired High Street with a little Italian flavour!
Reviews

Very cultural, it enhanced my knowledge on pizza and the story behind pizza in Italy. Very heartfelt and emotional, it makes you want the story to be real just so you can visit the restaurant and help out.

this long book has no pictures and over 60 chapters (do not worry , it has 272 pages!). Joes mum has a cafe that is struggling. when his grandad goes in to hospital, his cousin comes . she cooks , but Joe needs ideas to keep the cafe running . will his brain think of good ideas or will they sell the cafe?

I didn't think this book was amazing. It was ok but my least favourite of all the books I read.

A delightful tale set in South Wales. Joe is from a family of Italian immigrants and his great grandfather opened up a cafe in his local town of Bryn-Mawr way back in 1929. Joe's mum still runs the cafe but it has become run down and needs something or someone to bring it back to life. A heart warming story of the importance of community and bring people together.

I would rate this book 0/5 if I could. This book is the most boring book I've ever read. It has no description at all. I totally don't recommend this book. A massive 0/5 from me!!!

I think you should read this book because it shows how food and caffes bring family together. My favourite character is Combi because he doesnt care about anything (but chicken box). Read this book if you like fantasy novels.

I loved reading this book because it had English and the Italian language. Additionally, this book is about a boy who aspires to do something and I believe that everyone has a talent inside of themselves. Hope you enjoy reading this book! Viscountess Amazonia Sudoku
