This book is about a girl , violet , who investigates the crime of stealing tortioses and incrusting diamonds on their shell. The moral of this story is don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

I actually liked this book my favourite person was violet because she wanted to unlock all the mysteries It interested me because it told me even if the detectives were only little it was small but smart the detectives I would recommend this book to people who are 9 year olds that love detective books and also maybe mystery too.

I love this book because because it was so interesting. When I read this book I realised that some people will go to any lengths to become popular and that celebrities will usually not be suspected for committing a crime because they are popular.My favourite character would be Grand-mere because she bought some very unique dresses for the girls to wear to the concert and when the girls put them on it looked hilarious .I would recommend this book to mystery book lovers.

I found violet and the smuggles okay because I loved the story because it had a singing contest in it and I also loved at the start when they put everyone’s name and favourite ice cream flavours but I didn’t like when they drew they just used purple to colour it in.

It was a very interesting book with many twists especially the ending which was the most brain exploding twist of all. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and l couldn't put the book down(literally, l read it in one hour!). My favourite characters were Violet and Grand-mèrè. I would recommend it to anyone that likes adventure and mystery.
