Prom King: The Fincredible Diary of Fin Spencer
Ciaran Murtagh, Tim Wesson
Can Fin make prom night unforgettable (in a good way), dazzle Claudia and win the crown?
When Blake – a US exchange student – suggests a Prom Night for the end of term, everyone is buzzing about it. But to be in the running for Prom King Fin has to be on the committee and help organise a BIG party in only two weeks. He already has extra chores at home to help Mum during her pregnancy and save up for the key ingredients to his success: the tux, the limo and a ticket for Claudia, the Prom Queen of his dreams. Fin’s going to use the diary again to help him, but on the night will he remember what’s really important?
Another laugh-out-loud ‘Fincredible’ adventure from rising star Ciaran Murtagh, with comic illustrations by Tim Wesson.

fincredible its the best character in the whole world !

The book is about a poor(not like money)boy(I admit it)who has an American person in his class. It’s almost the end of the year, and Blake suggests to do a prom(a disco)for the end of the year. Fin accepts to join the prom community (because children organise it) to be the prom king. Though things don’t turn out as well as he thought they would. He needs his magic diary! I like the book really much but the only thing between the book and getting five stars is that it’s quite long, so you get bored of it eventually.

It was a good book with disasters to make the readers keep reading. it had a good storyline and a good transitions from introduction to the actual juicy story.

It was fiction. I like Fin the most. It didn’t give me any facts. I liked Fin avoiding a royal disaster

Out of all six books I've read for the summer reading challenge this year, ironically, this was the last and the best book I've read! It was the most emotional book I read with lots of unintended screw-ups, good thing Fin has his magic diary! It's about Fin Spencer hearing about an end of year prom, and deciding that, being the self-proclaimed "Most popular student", HE should be prom king. Of course, calamity ensues. But I'm not going to spoil any more of the story, READ THE BOOK!

It was a really good and fun book. I enjoyed it a lot because of all the adventures he gets up to and how his little sister is mischievous. I would rate it from age 5 onwards.

A book about a boy with a magic diary. This time he has to prepare for a school prom and his diary changes what he wants to change about what he did in the day. It works but with some problems... Arguments and a huge list of daily, weekly and monthly chores!
