James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl in magnificent full colour. James Henry Trotter lives with two ghastly hags. Aunt Sponge is enormously fat with a face that looks boiled and Aunt Spiker is bony and screeching. He's very lonely until one day something peculiar happens. At the end of the garden a peach starts to grow and GROW AND GROW. Inside that peach are seven very unusual insects - all waiting to take James on a magical adventure. But where will they go in their GIANT PEACH and what will happen to the horrible aunts if they stand in their way? There's only one way to find out . . Listen to JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH and other Roald Dahl audiobooks read by some very famous voices, including Kate Winslet, David Walliams and Steven Fry - plus there are added squelchy soundeffects from Pinewood Studios! Look out for new Roald Dahl apps in the App store and Google Play- including the disgusting TWIT OR MISS! inspired by the revolting Twits. ""A true genius . . . Roald Dahl is my hero"" David Walliams

It's a fiction book. It is about a boy called James. He lived with his 2 mean aunties. One was really skinny and one was fat. A peach grew on a tree and got bigger and bigger until it rolled down and squashed the aunties. I would ask my friends to read it because the peach rolled over them and James made new friends like the grasshopper, earthworm, silkworm and a ladybird. Oh and a centerpede.

Very interesting and adventurous. I enjoyed the mild humour in the book and I can't say my favourite part wasn't the bit where the aunts got flattened by the peach!

After loving other Roald Dahl books I was hoping to love this but I found it a little harder to read. There was less humour and less exciting vocabulary. It is still a classic read and I would recommend to others and maybe I will try and read it again to see if I can enjoy it more.

I found the Centipede funny because he always had to put on 42 boots on and off again and again.

The book James and the giant peach is a fiction book and not a factual book. The book interests me because Roald Dahl is one of my favourite authors. I like all the characters the best. I would recommend this book to anyone that is ages 6 and upwards.

I love this book! My favorite character is the blind earthworm because it's funny that he is always such a downer. Everyone who loves very extraordinary, funny fiction and fantasy should, in my opinion, read this book.

It was the best and really funny. It’s about a boy ;James. He ends up living on a peach in the middle of the ocean! It’s also a short book but still good with quite adventure.I’d certainly recommend reading this book to anyone who is interested in adventure/comedy books. Its also fiction.

My favourite character was James because he had a hard life with his awful aunties sponge and spiker and then he had the best life in the world with his friends in the peach and he got famous and wrote the story. I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure.
