’Rabbit’s Bad Habits is a breath of fresh air in children’s fiction, a laugh-out-loud story of rabbit and wolf and bear, of avalanches and snowmen. The sort of story that makes you want to send your children to bed early, so you can read it to them.’ Neil Gaiman

From novelist and playwright Julian Gough, and the winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, Jim Field, comes a brilliantly funny story of a rabbit and bear who discover that things are always better when they’re shared with a friend …

""PEACE AND QUIET,"" shouts Rabbit. ""THAT’S ALL I WANT.""

Owch. He’s hurt his own ears again.

What with Bear’s snoring, and a BANGBANG! noise from up in the tree, Rabbit knows that Something Simply Has To Be Done.

But high in the branches, perhaps Bear can show Rabbit how to see the world from a different place …

A story of friendship, wisdom, and how to be REALLY NOISY.

I liked how the Woodpecker used her beak to hollow into the tree trunk to make her den. I thought that it was a bit stupid and very funny when Rabbit said that he wanted to chnge the world. my favourite charatcer was Woodpecker because she repeated things more than once.

Rabbit and bear are friends, Rabbit is annoyed and taps his feet because there is a Bang, Bang, Bang noise coming from a tree because a woodpecker is making a nest to sleep in. I liked the tortoise because it sleeps a lot, I chose to read this book because i thought the animals on the front might go on an adventure .

I really like it when woodpecker pecks so loudly that it makes rabbit go nuts or you could say rabbit went crazy with rage.

Really well written and funny. Read it twice i loved it so much! Each character is unique, the story is so true to natural behavior, so simple, yet really funny. Definitely recommend it - especially if struggling and want to get into chapter books.
