In the spirit of A Series of Unfortunate Events and the Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place series, The Unintentional Adventures of the Bland Sisters will captivate middle-grade readers looking for humor, hijinks, and a swashbuckling good time. Meet Jaundice and Kale Bland, two sisters who avoid excitement at any cost. Together, they patiently await the return of their parents, who left on an errand years ago and have never returned. One day, the Bland sisters are kidnapped by an all-female band of pirates. They’re unwillingly swept into a high-seas romp that might just lead to solving the mystery of what happened to their parents. With whimsical illustrations and Roald Dahl–esque wit, The Unintentional Adventures of the Bland Sisters is the visually stunning, laugh-out-loud funny start to a new series for readers who are looking for an anything-but-bland adventure.

It's about 2 boring girls who do the same thing every day and eat the same meals every day. One day, the Bland Sisters hear a knock on the door and they are captured by a crew of woman pirates! This is the story of their adventures and it is exciting.

This is a great story sending out the message that adventure can happen anywhere, even in the most boring of places. My favourite character was peg because she was kind to everyone. This book was great and is perfect for lovers of adventure, pirates and dictionaries.

This book was a bit bad because it was about the bland sisters getting kidnapped by pirates.I think the book is for people at the age 9-11. This book is mainly for girls but boys can also read it because it's about pirates.

I thought the book was adventurous because they go to a pirate ship and they act like pirates. They ate like pirates and they even dressed up like pirates.

I thought the book was really good because there were two girls who sailed on a huge ship and the Bland Sisters have exciting adventures.
