If you love tense and unexpected friendships then this is for you. The second book in the six of crows duology and set a while the last book of shadow and bone is happening. Some characters from the trilogy appear in this book (Zoya) and some from this duology appear in the king of scars duology (Nina and Zoya)

I absolutely loved this book. This is the last instalment of the Six Of Crows duology, and whilst the first book holds my heart, Crooked Kingdom is just amazing. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters better, where relationships formed and we learn more about their pasts, their vulnerabilities. The contrast between all 7 of their personalities made me laugh throughout the whole book, but some moments just left me feeling touched by the way its written. I think that because we get to know more about the characters, I definitely developed a favourite and we just support them all the way through. I think my problem with this novel is probably how it ends; whilst I won't spoil it, it made me feel as if the story was incomplete, like there was still more to add to all of their stories and maybe there will be. But for now its the end of The Six Of Crows. It's an amazing, descriptive read and for me, one of my favourite books of all time.

This book broke me in half. It had all the same great qualities of the first one, distinctive and eccentric characters with loving dynamics, and excellently written plot lines. “we were all supposed to make it.” i’m sobbing.

This must be one of my favourite books of all time! The plot, the characters, the adventures. I loved all of the crows but Jesper was probably my favourite. The end of the book left me in tears but it was such a great book. 100% recommend but do read Six of Crows first!! They’re both amazing books.

It is an interesting book, with mysterious twists and turns throughout. I thoroughly recommend this book to those who like a detective/action book.
