A hilarious and heartfelt series about a group of magical misfits! Now a Disney+ original feature film. Nory Horace is nine years old. She's resourceful, she's brave, she likes peanut butter cookies. Also, like most people in her magical world, she's able to transform into many different animals. Unfortunately, Nory's shape-shifting ability is a bit...wonky. And when she flunks out of her father's own magic academy, Nory's forced to enter the magic equivalent of the remedial classes. But Nory and her new classmates are going to prove that upside-down magic definitely beats right-side up! the perfect read for the fan of School of Good and Evil (HarperCollins) or Ever After High (Little, Brown) Written by three New York Times bestselling authors: Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle and Emily Jenkins

It was better than the film. I don’t have a favourite character. I liked them all the same because they had fascinating powers.

It was a fab book but I wish there was a bit more interesting things going on. My favourite character was Nory the main character who is an outcast.

I thought that this was a really magical book and it transported me into a different world. My thoughts on what I have read are that maybe if you are different or have different talents than other people you are special and could use them to help others. My favourite character was Nory because she is kind and wanted to help her friend as well as herself. I would recommend this book to people who love magic and have unusual talents unique to them.

I enjoyed reading this book but it isn’t one that I would read very often! I like all the characters and I love all of the different types of magic in this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves reading stories about magic. This book also teaches that magic is not as easy as it sounds.

It was too short but otherwise I liked it.

This book is fictional and it was quite intriguing to be honest. It had a mix of magic, family life, real life scenarios; e.g: when a pupil is scared to experience their first day at school or when they go to another school. I would recommend this book to those who love a mix of everything in their book no matter what genre.

I liked upside down magic, because, you never knew what what going to happen next. They dragged the story out and left you with a cliff-hanger. I really like the magic in the book, it was just like being in the world of the book. Elliot and Nory tried really hard to get into normal classes but then at the end they discover that they were happy being themselves. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves magical stories and reading.
