The 65-Storey Treehouse is the fifth book in Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton's wacky treehouse adventures, where the laugh-out-loud story is told through a combination of text and fantastic comic book-style illustrations. 'The kind of book I would have loved as a kid' – Tom Fletcher, author of The Danger Gang Andy and Terry's amazing 65-Storey Treehouse used to be 52 stories, but they keep expanding! Now it has a pet-grooming salon, a birthday room (where it's always your birthday, even when it's not), a room full of exploding eyeballs, a lollipop shop, a quicksand pit, an ant farm and a time machine . . . which is going to be really, really useful, since Terry messed up (again) and the treehouse just FAILED its safety inspection. Join Andy and Terry on a whirlwind trip through time as they try to stop the treehouse from being demolished! Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up! Climb more fun-filled levels by collecting all thirteen books in the seven million-copy-selling series – the perfect chapter books for reluctant readers.

I like how crazy their time-travelling wheelie bin is!

I go for the quick sandpit and a boat and arrow level. It is exciting to see how Andy and Terry float instead of sinking. There is a new character, the inspector to check around to see if the treehouse is safe. It turns out it is not!

I liked the book and I’ve read some of the other books in the series. And Diary of a Wimpy Kid also came from the incredible author Jeff Kinney I think. And Jeff Kinney does funny excitable and enjoyable books, I live him he is my author of the month.

I thought it was good because they had their building permit and the tree house had to be knocked down because it wasn't safe. They had to go in their time machine to save the tree house.

I like the time machine wheely bin. They were trying to get to 6 and a half years ago but all they could manage was 65,000, 65 million or 65 trillion years ago.

This book was funny as they keep time travelling to the wrong place and the wrong time!

An historical adventure of 3 boys saving their tree house from being demolished ( and snakes, penguins and cavemen)

I like it because Gill is really funny and they travel to different places, the stone age period, ancient Egypt, ancient Rome and the future. I like the safety director, he turns out to be a motorbike person and he delivers the next book.

I like this book because it is very funny . When I read it I loved the part where one says I have a match but not a matchbox and the other said I have a matchbox but not a match and they pondered what to do but I would of instantly knew to put them together

Great book, the bignosesaur was my favourite character and ill tell you why later. The ants were funny and the ant doppleganger was funny too because badminton was their weakness. Why did Terry make the time machine a bin and why did the inspector not want them hiding? The pond scum were just plain blank. The chronometer liked 65 and 0 cause it went to past and future [65000000 years ago to 65000000 years ahead] and future of future. The bignosesaur was my favourite because it was as big as a house, angry as a bull and well, big nosed. It just exploded I mean the nose was big but I didn't think it would explode!
