as the stars begin to twinkle, Harper and her friends are
flying on the scarlet umbrella when they see a girl running on air,
skipping along a tightrope. She leads them to the Circus of Dreams,
suspended in the air by hot air balloons. As the children meet
the mermaid acrobat, the spectacular circus baker, the mysterious
fortune teller and the acrobatics troop, they begin to realise
something about Harper’s past…

The characters were beautifully thought out as was the storyline. I was eager to read on at ever word! My favourite character is the storm stirrer skylar as she is kind caring and very pretty. I will definitely read the rest of the books

Carrie Burnell writes amazing books and I am mystified by her unique sense of imagination. I highly recommend this book.

I thought that this book was so interesting and magical. Normally my favourite character would be the main character. This time Liesel is my favourite. My favourite chapters was chapter seven, The Circus Of Dreams and chapter three, Harper’s Family. I would recommend this to a friend

I really liked Harper and the Circus of Dreams because it has loads of entertaining bits in it and I thought it was really imaginative as well. My favourite character is Harper's Mum and Dad [a sea singer and a baker of wonder and wishes] because her parents go missing and she lives with her great Aunt sassy so she has never seen her parents before. I Would recommend it to people who have an imagination and like humour. Thanks Bye

I liked how Harper went to the circus with her friends and found her Mum and Dad. I also liked Aurelia swinging on the tightrope and Hugo baked the best book with icing on top.

It was absolutely amazing I read this book in one night! It is full of magic. A girl who wishes to be a mouse, a boy who loves poetry, a boy with a wolf companion and a girl with a music talent. What will happen next.
