Skye Green’s mum is driving her insane! When she’s not posting EMBARRASSING pictures of Skye online or experimenting with BIZARRE clothing, she’s forever taking up new hobbies – and her latest obsession is ballroom dancing! It’s only a matter of time until she waltzes down the street in spandex and sequins – and to make matters worse, Skye’s younger brother is wildly (and irritatingly) enthusiastic about Mum’s new hobby, and about wearing Mum’s sparkly new outfits!
As if this wasn’t HORRIFIC enough, Skye’s mum has also enlisted the new neighbour’s son to come and ‘babysit’ when she’s at dance class, and he’s only a year older than Skye! Talk about MORTIFYING in the EXTREME! At least Skye’s best friend, Aubrey is there to help Skye cope with her family’s madness. They’ve been friends since before they can remember, and nothing will ever, EVER change that . . . right?

I thought this book was ok but I preferred Anna Wilson's last book. The characters were gripping and all but I don't really find the parents of the problem. Otherwise though it was a nice book.

I thought it was a really good book. My favourite character is Skye’s little brother Harris because he was so active and full of energy. I would definitely recommend this book as it is hilarious.

This is a fantastic book about a girl who has a mother who likes having strange hobbies such as going to dancing classes. She also hates her absurd name : Skye Green. Skye feels like she is falling out with her best friend, who has gone off with two mean girls who they had the "Voldemort Twins."

This hilarious book reveals how poor Skye's One living with her embarrassing mom really is. Especially now she has lost her best friend over her new neighbour who her bestie has gone all lovely eyed over.

Because it almost feels like you are part of the story and that you really want to help the main characters with their problems and they can relate to your own too.

This book is quite girly but boys can read it too. I love this book so I have rated it 5 stars! Children who are 9-13 will love this book! Animal agents has helped me discover a new author: Anna Wilson! I am reading 4 of her books for animal agents including The Parent Problem.

I think people should read this book if they like funny stories that are about children who have embarrassing parents. This book is full of surprises and the main character Skye has a brother called Harris and a mum called Hellie.At the beginning of the book, a new neighbour moves in. You will have to read the book to see what happens next...
