When Tom was going on Holiday it said old site and they went there even though there was another sign saying new site.

This book was about a boy named Tom who had a lot of work to do which had to be due after the half term. Tom’s family went to a hotel called villa but they accidentally went to the old, abandoned one. I like this book between 2 and 3 stars because at the end Marcus, Tom’s classmate went to a place called chocolate world and then after he went he gave Tom an empty packet with no chocolate. Isn’t that funny?

It was a brilliant book. It had pictures and cool fonts which made it interesting. Really funny, creative and had facts about the author at the end. When I was reading it I wanted to keep reading it and not put the book down. I liked the character Amy because she was nice, sweet and didn’t embarrass Tom. I would 100% recommend this to someone else but I’d rather keep it to myself because I like it so much.

I read this book just before and when I was on holiday. It was great. I enjoyed all the doodle ideas in the book. I would recommend this book.

This book was great and I love Tom Gates books. Tom is my favourite character as he is funny. I would recommend this book and all the others to anyone who likes funny books about school and adventures.
