Uncle Gobb And The Green Heads
Michael Rosen, Neal Layton
The second uproarious adventure from the comic pairing of Michael Rosen and Neal Layton sees Malcolm and the peculiar Uncle Gobb go to America, each with a cunning plan …
Even though Malcolm managed to bamboozle and confuzle Uncle Gobb in the last book (hooray!), it was only temporary (boo!). Uncle Gobb is still living with him and still roaring at him about peas and poetry and Peter Parker.
This time the plan to get rid of Uncle Gobb has to be mega. It has to be epic. It has to involve America, the Jumblies, the Genie (of course), Aunty Brenda the Mender and Malcolm’s long-lost dad. But Malcolm doesn’t know that Uncle Gobb also has a plan. A plan to get rid of Malcolm once and for all …
A bonkers book about standing up for yourself, from two crazily creative people. Sure to delight fans of David Walliams, Andy Stanton and Tom Gates.

It was a very funny book

I like that one of the people are called spaghetti as it’s hair is drawn like it . The word ‘weasel’ was wandering around the book here and there . Uncle Gobb is so dramatic and that was the point in the book and I like that . :)

I thought it was a good book. I liked Malcolm the best because he gave silly answers to all of Uncle Gobb's questions.

Child! If you read this book then I will test you afterwards. You must answer all these questions: 1. How do I plan to get rid of my nephew Malcolm once and for all? 2. Who is Brenda the Mender? 3. Why doesn’t my Genie help me? If you get them wrong you must do MORE HOMEWORK. Uncle Gobb, founder of Gobb Education

I didn’t really like this book as it wasn’t my type of genre.

I liked the weasels the most because they are funny and they sometimes do the narrating. I would recommend it to someone else because it is very funny. (It is only called Uncle Gobb and the Green Heads because Malcom (the main character) has a lesson about Edward Lear's poem the Jumblies!)
Madam Fandango Archer 21.08.2021

The book it self is great but uncle Gobb is so irritating in the book I doubted he was a nice guy but this hilarious book deserves a 4 or a 5 and that is my decision.

An amazing and wonderfully humouristic book, full of action and plots to get rid of uncles and nephews. My favourite character was Crackersnacker, Malcolm's best friend. A definite recommendation.

I thought it was really funny and it is really wired. My favourite caricature is Crackersnacker and the Weasels. I would recommend it to people who like wired books.
