A perfect, collectible gift for all children (and children at heart).

I liked how this was the story of the wizard of oz but from Toto's point of view.

I really enjoyed reading about this book. I felt bad for toto as he was always pushed away from the other puppies.

Toto was cheeky and cute. Dorothy was brave and full of leadership. Scarecrow was clever and never stopped thinking. Tin Woodman was caring and strong. Lion was majestic and a little nervous. Together, they made a great team and went on an incredible adventure to see the Great and Terrible Wizard of Oz, each with their own little dream to perceive. They faced some challenges, but with each other’s help they eventually made it to the end. This is a really nice book written in the perspective of the dog - Toto (Dorothy’s dog) - going through all the journey and adventures in the book of The Wizard of Oz. It’s very interesting the way Michael Morpurgo put it in the perspective of Toto because most of the time anyone else might not think about rewriting The Wizard of Oz as a dog of Dorothy’s. This makes you understand more how it feels like to experience the adventures in this dog’s way. I loved the fact that this book has got amazing, colourful and cute illustrations drawn with the writing. I would recommend this book to someone else.

It had some some scary bits but I was happy that they all got to Kansas.

I like Dorothy the most, because she is brave and friendly. When the wicked witch tried to attack them, Dorothy used her wit and fought back.

I think ToTo is a creative idea and could even expand on to a sequel were Little ToTo (one of ToTo's children) could go to Oz.I have been a fan of Michel Morpurgo's books ever since I read Butterfly Lion (a really good book I recommend you read) in year 3.My favorite character is Little ToTo as I relate being the youngest and being ignored by being so small (which is basically a quick character description of him if you wanted one).I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes animals or action and adventure because it perfectly fits those standards.A nice book to read when it's raining outside a feel good book which never leaves you board and it makes it even better if you have watched or read the original book or film as you get to see the story from a different perspective. And a quick random fact did you know that the the dog who played ToTo in the film got payed more than the munchkins.Anyway a feel good book would read again 5 books out of 5!

It was really exciting and it's similar to the normal Wizard of Oz, but Toto's version, and Michael Morpurgo adds in extra stuff that's not in the movie
