I really enjoyed this book. My favourite character was Tish or Rebecca as they are both clever and kind. I would recommend this book to people who like Malory Towers on TV or the book aged 7+.

First Term at Trebizon is a brilliant book! It is very much like Malory Towers and St Clare's and perfect for anyone who likes boarding school tales. It is more modern though (and slightly easier to read!) It is a real page turner and once you have begun to read you are stuck in Rebecca's world! My favourite character is either Tish or Elf.

I felt really supportive of Rebecca, especially because of the nasty people she went up against in this story. I cannot wait to go to the library to grab the next book!

If you like Enid Blyton's Naughtiest Girl in School, you will like this. It's about a girl who joins a boarding school during the second form and has to learn to fit in with established groups of friends.

This book is good for people who have read Malory Towers or The Twins at St Clare's.
