Asterix: Asterix and The Missing Scroll: Album 36
Jean-Yves Ferri, Didier Conrad
Asterix, the Gaul is back for more funny, fast-paced adventure in this cheeky and energetic comic, the New York Times bestselling thirty-sixth Asterix album. Julius Caesar has finished writing the history of his campaigns in Gaul. His publisher, Libellus Blockbustus, foresees a huge success ... but there's a snag. The chapter about Caesar's defeats by the indomitable Gauls of Armorica. Cut it, Blockbustus advises, and everyone will believe that Caesar conquered all Gaul! Or will they? Newsmonger and activist Confoundtheirpolitix takes the chapter to Asterix's village. Can the Gauls make sure the truth is revealed? Multi-million selling Asterix is much loved across the world, perfect for children age 7-11 and hilarious for kids and parents alike. Following in the footsteps of Goscinny and Uderzo, the thirty-sixth Asterix album by Ferri and Conrad is a number 3 New York Times bestselling title.

Doctor Binky Frozen-Peas 09.08.2023

It was ok, it lacked excitement and nervousness.
Major Pluto Aardvark 09.07.2023

It was really funny and full of lots of magical adventures.
Doctor Beany Sausage-Roll 27.08.2022

Obelix was my favourite character in this book because he kept saying "I'm not fat!" but he very much is. I loved the book but it is not the best Asterix book that I have read. I would definitely recommend it to someone else because it is truly funny and I liked the names of the Roman legionaries - one was called Asparagus!
Master Hercules Jellybaby 25.08.2022

This book is about a roman servant who gives a part Cesar's scroll to the Gauls. I recommend it to people who are great fans of Asterix and Obelix.
King Aardvark Eragon 12.08.2022

The illustrations are funny. Asterix is my favourite character because he is brave and very good at fighting the Romans. I think anyone who reads it will get a laugh out of the book!
Commander Sandwich Casserole 06.12.2021

I loved this book. It was funny, even though it was confusing at points. My favourite character was the Roman that kept losing the pigeons.
General Boadicea Jamboree 18.08.2021

Its funny as the romans think they are getting the magic potion which makes them invincible.... A good read!
Esquire Jazzy Starlight 08.08.2021

I rated this book as a 3 because I found it quite difficult to read, although it did make me laugh especially when Asterix and Obelix beat up all the Romans. Obelix is my favourite character as he fell into the cauldron of magic potion when he was a baby and is really strong! I would recommend this book to my friends because it is story set in history although they may want to read it with their parents as it was difficult to read especially the Latin!
Fairy Pinky Sequins 12.09.2020

Captain Boadicea Bobble-hat 30.08.2020

they go on a really epic journey in this book
Marshal Leach Squirrel 22.08.2020

I really liked this book because at the end they see Julius Caesar and throughout the story one of the Gauls still doesn’t know that Caesar can read and write.
Count Slip Spaghetti-Hoops 13.08.2020

Quest-seeker Banana Teacup 20.07.2020

This book was great fun. it was a good fictional book set in the roman times. I thought Archaeopteryx was a bit weird , He had a green beard and muddled lots of things up. I would recommend it to anyone 6+.
