I thought it was unique. My thoughts were that it was mystical. It was fiction. It didn't have any facts. It interested me because it had loads of secret to find out. I would recommend this book.

A girl named Mia whose mother and older brother get sent out to exile from Venice by the duchess who wasn't even a teenager. She still had a bond with her mother which she was determined to break as she was doing weird things. Mia also make friends with a mermaid named Ara. This was a fiction book. The best part was when Mia, Ara and Lorin defeated the Talish invaders and everyone was happy.

I love mermaids but people just buy the outfit, they are mythical and they DO NOT exist so DO NOT read this book

I love mermaids but fear huge sea creatures and very, very, very deep water with no way up. Ever. This is a great book, even so, because it's not as bad as Emily Windsnap.
