The third sinister story in the Grimm series delves even further into the dark heart of the fairy tales you thought you knew and loved. A brother and sister must venture through kingdoms and forests haunted by demons and ogres, all the while seeking their way home. And they must face the most frightening monster of all: death. Enter, if you dare, a world filled with cruel stepsisters, ghastly suppers and a terrifying man known as the Devil.

It was kind of scary but with a tinge of humour. My favourite characters are Jorinda and Joringel. I recommend it to any one who likes horror and/or humour.

I found this book quite gruesome and gory, but really adventurous. I like how the author[Adam Gidwitz ] used himself as one of the characters in my book. Sorry Adam, your not my favourite character though you are very funny, My favourite character would have to be Jorinda because she always says I will never leave you to somebody but then she does. I thought this book deserves a five star rating and I am going to recommend it to someone else.

Imagine a pot of terror, bravery, imagination and fairy tales...put it in a book. What do you get? The Grimm conclusion. Full of people getting limbs chopped off this is a book I loved.

I don't think children under ten should be reading this book although it is very funny and interesting for older children.
