Betsey thought that everyone had forgotten about her birthday because she didn't get a surprise when she woke up but in the afternoon her friends and family were downstairs singing 'happy birthday to you'.

It was so good. I kept on reading and reading it! My favourite chapter was Betsey's Birthday Surprise, then Betsey On Telly, then Betsey Moves House, then The Best Guard Dog.

Betsey is annoying in this story but also fun to play.All because of her I annoyed my mum too.

I didn't enjoy this book at all it was boring and awful! It was really hard to read and I needed constant help from people as the words were really long and I couldn't understand them! I definitely will not be reading any more books from this author until I'm a little bit older and can understand them more!

I think this book should be made for 5-6 year olds. I like this book because it's funny when she thinks her family and friends forget her birthday,instead they make a surprise party.
