Betsey thought that everyone had forgotten about her birthday because she didn't get a surprise when she woke up but in the afternoon her friends and family were downstairs singing 'happy birthday to you'.

I didn't enjoy this book at all it was boring and awful! It was really hard to read and I needed constant help from people as the words were really long and I couldn't understand them! I definitely will not be reading any more books from this author until I'm a little bit older and can understand them more!

I loved it because Betsey was sad and thought everyone had forgotten about her but really it was a big surprise.

I think this book should be made for 5-6 year olds. I like this book because it's funny when she thinks her family and friends forget her birthday, instead they make a surprise party.
