I like the way the story has two different people and they joined together in the end.

Join Alice-Miranda and her friends as they travel to Japan! Meanwhile, they meet Yoshi and go to to the Imperial Palace to have dinner with Hugh's friend, Kenzo and the royal family, where all mysteries are revealed! My favourite character is Emperor Jinnu because he is very kind and especially friendly. I would recommend this book because it is funny, mysterious and unique!

Alice Miranda in Japan: Alice Miranda is trying to solve a mystery yet again! This book is full of mystery, adventure, suspense and action! My favourite character is Alice Miranda because even when Taro and Tatsu try to frame her best friend Jacinta of stealing she tries to be fair and defends them to her father who wanted to call the police. I would recommend this book to any girls aged 9+ who love reading books about trying to solve mysteries.

It is a fiction story and it would interest people that like traveling and touring around the world. Her favourite character was Alice, because she liked the way she bosses everyone around her. She thinks it would make a good impact on the story. The story is about Alice going to Japan for a holiday and come across a stranger who makes her wonder who he is.

The book is quite long, but good. They are mystery books where Alice Miranda and her friends have to track down the nasty characters. I love the theme on Japan! Alice Miranda and her school are on a trip to Japan. They stay at a traditional hotel, but before too long when they visit the park, Alice and her friend Millie realise that there is a house across the road acting strangely. There is a boy who lives there, but why?? Can they crack the case???????

Alice-Miranda in Japan is set in Tokyo and is about Alice-Miranda and her two friends, Millie and Jacinta on holiday. When they are invited to the Imperal Palace they have a big adventure ahead of them. In the end of the adventure Alice-Miranda and her two friends have saved the princess of Japan,Princess Kiko from being locked up or worse! Kiko shows her greatfulness to Alice-Miranda, Millie and Jacinta by inviting them to the palace again. My favourite character is Alice-Miranda because she is kind and always willing to help others. My least favourite character is Hatsuko, Kiko's auntie because she is mean and selfish. My favourite part is when Kiko finds her grandad who she hasn't seen for over two years because that makes me happy. My least favourite part is when Jacinta is accused of stealing something she didn't steal because that is not positive and I like being positive. The story was a mystery because the first chapters spoke about completely different scenes and at the end of the story all the scenes went together. This was the first time I read a book by Jacqueline Harvey and I really like it! I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure and happy endings!
