I thought this book was very funny and I learned a bit of Latin. And the characters names are like words for example hysteria means they are hysteric!

I would recommend reading this story because it takes you for an adventure with the Romans. My favourite characters were Scorcha, Perilus and Hysteria.

It was interesting because people kept on switching clothes and the guard was too silly to notice. whoever was in jail when someone came to rescue them, the person in jail got out of jail but the person who came to rescue them went in jail because they swapped clothes with the person in jail. I would recommend this book.

Croakbag the raven is back to tell the next part of the story. Krysis is in jail after being accused of stealing from the Imperial Mint but it gets worse when the family are made to leave their villa. Krysis is released from prison but must find out who the real thief is if his family can ever return to their home. Croakbag is so funny telling the story - when he's not eating dead squirrels!! Most of the family end up in prison at one point and Croakbag has his work cut out to get them out. A really funny book.
