Reviews

I liked the book and it was very adventurous with a few things that were magical like a broken horse and the most interesting thing about it was that the character was very fed up at the beginning of the book and found a new thing that he never had seen before it was a very small snow spider.

This was an excellent book, I found it very exciting but also sad because the sister goes back to another world at the end!

The Snow Spider is about Gywn a little boy who lives in Wales. His sister Bethan has gone missing and his grandma says he's a wizard. Jenny Nimmo definitely captured the feeling of Wales

Excellent book! It is all about a boy called Gwydion Gwyn who discovers he is a magician. Gwyn is given five objects from his grandmother for his ninth birthday. They are very mysterious objects. Gwyn uses these objects to bring back his sister, Bethan, who left four years ago on his birthday when a storm occurred. I love this book because it is all about magic which is always interesting. It also has fabulous description, a great plot and thrilling beginning to grip you to read on. This book also teaches not to give hope up. I recommend you read this book if you like adventure, magic and suspense.
