I think it is a really good book. It has many adventurous chapters within! It was a fiction book and i loved Nellie-Smellie the best he always knows what to do and has everything you need at the right time!

Atticus' least favourite thing this is probably cleaning out the home for abandoned cats' attic but when he does, and finds the famous explorer, Howard Toffly's, chest, an exciting new adventure awaits for Atticus and his friends... This book is not really one of my favourites in the series because I don't like the bits where the Jaguar Gods are sacrificing humans. However, this book is interesting because you never know what is going to happen next. I like those bits. I really enjoyed this book because there's so many different creatures like jaguars and parrots. My favourite part is when Atticus and his cat friends were cleaning the attic because Atticus really encourages the cats to do their best when they are working. All in all this book is not my favourite but still a great book to read!!! I rate this book to people aged 7 or over.

I thought this book was really exciting because it is about the ancient Mayan people and I learnt that they used vines as ropes. Atticus once again saves the day with his cunning plans. He wins a life or death ball game and is honoured by the Mayan leader. This book is great fun to read.

I liked the book even though it was a bit scary at times. My favourite character was Nellie Smellie because she thought up things that would come in helpful with her knitting. She even knitted spear proof bibs!

Atticus Claw Hears A Roar is interesting because it combines three of my favourite things (cats,books and mystery) and is therefore perfect for me! My favourite character is Mimi the burmese/ragdoll or Bones the black ship's cat.It is suitable for 7-10s.

I think Atticus Claw Hears A Roar is a hilarious and adventurous book. Atticus Grammaticus Pussycat Claw even goes into a jungle and finds that the Mayan Civilisation is still alive! I advise you to read this book, I think you would enjoy it.

Another great addition to the Atticus Claw series! When Howard Toffly's journal in found in a chest with two of the masks of the Ancient Maya in Nellie Smellie's attic, Atticus smells danger and adventure. But when Lord and Lady Toffly (former owners of Toffly Hall) find out about the treasure, they decide to call their daughter, Ribena, and her husband. They make a plan to take back Toffly hall from the Tuckers and keep Atticus and his friends out of the adventure. Will Atticus be able to save the Tuckers? Will he be able to find the Toffly Treasure? Read the book to find out!
