A brilliant story with mystery and monsters. It is quite good for older readers as it can be slightly violent but it can be hilarious and heartwarming as well. The story is a pleasant mix of horror and adventure. This story is in three parts and this is the first; the other two are named ‘desolation’(the second book) and ‘American monsters’(the third book) A great story and another instant classic from Derek Landy (the author of skulduggery pleasant) Thanks for reading
