Middle School: Just My Rotten Luck: (Middle School 7)
James Patterson
Rafe Khatchadorian is getting the Hollywood treatment in a film version of Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life starring Griffin Gluck, Lauren Graham, Rob Riggle and Thomas Barbusca. In this seventh Middle School episode, Rafe heads back to the place his misadventures began: the dreaded Hills Village Middle School, where he's now being forced to take 'special' classes... He also finds himself joining the school's football team – alongside his main tormenter, Miller the Killer! But Rafe has grand plans for a better year: First, he decides to start a super-secret art project that's sure to rock the school. Then, if Rafe manages to make a play to save his team, he might have to deal with something completely new: popularity!

I thought the book was very sad because Rafe was talking about depressing stuff about himself and people were belittling him. My favourite character is Leo because he works with Rafe and he is very funny with a lot of imagination. It interested me because it was talking about Rafe's life in school and maybe at home. I would recommend it nut the book is too short and some bits don't need to be inside.

It thought that this book was hilarious! I loved all of the plot twists and Rafe's funny pictures. It gave you that feeling when you're reading it that your not alone. Rafe keeps on talking to you and it's brilliant. It's a really good book to read if you're in lockdown because you feel like you're with a friend you don't even have to social distance with.

I thought that he had very bad luck in middle school and that his teachers were very strict. I found it interesting that all the chapters were about different parts of middle school,I would recommend this to someone that likes a funny book.
