I loved this book!! It was my last book for the reading challenge 2019 and I am really glad that I saved it till last as it was by far the best! It was a fiction story and I definitely liked Daisy the best as I loved her imagination. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery story because throughout the story I was desperate to know what was going to happen at the end and how Daisy was going to cope with her horrible Uncle James Gritting! I really enjoyed this book and is one of my favourite books in my top three! 1:the hunger games series. 2:The secret life of Daisy Fitsjohn 3. The David Walliams Books. :)

I thought this book was amazing. Daisy loved her mum so much and at the end I felt so happy when she saw her friend.

This is an absolutely amazing book! It has an interesting plot, following the life of Daisy Fitzjohn, an 11 year-old who realises something unusual - her mother is gone from the house, and hasn't returned. Then a stranger shows up at her door, and you know nothing about him, but it's interesting to follow along with Daisy and piece together the clues to find the history of Mr Gritting. She must find a way to survive for a whole week, trying all her best to defeat Gritting with the help of a girl named Frank, but she's not completely real. This book is filled with gripping and devastating moments, and makes you ask 'How is Daisy going to get out of this situation?' It has an astonishingly brilliant ending, and I would highly recommend this book to anybody. Thank you for reading - Lady Sunshine Kangaroo

A very exiting and mysterious story, about a girl whose mother goes missing, and then a stranger shows up with a secret that will threaten her whole world!
