When Matilda discovers a treasure map inside an old bottle, she shows it to the Jolley-Rogers and they all set sail to find the mysterious island. Only to end up in the belly of the dastardly Pirate Cruncher! Can Matilda and the rest of the Jolly-Rogers rescue themselves before it is too late? Or will they end up trapped there forever? It was a fiction book, and my favourite character in the book was Matilda. I found the book interesting, because They had to defeat the monster and get his gold I would recommend it to someone because It was a fun adventure for them and fun reading for us

I liked when the characters went down into the monsters tummy, they were really brave! It was a bit funny at points, the funniest character was King Hairy Toes!

I liked that this book was about pirates. My favourite character was Nugget, I liked when she was friends with the monkeys and got bananas for everyone. I would recommend the book for people who like pirate stories.

I really liked this book because it had two funny characters called king hairy toes and banana bill. My favourite was the pirate cruncher because he was allergic to parrots and he ate any pirates that came for his gold. I would recommend this book to others who like the jolley Roger series or pirate books.

When they go looking for treasure the Fiddler tells of a beast who EATS those who come for his gold, the Pirate Cruncher…Set sail once again with Matilda & Jim lad to see where it leads to next. . . This is a very gripping tale of two friends coming back together meaning this is not the first or last in the series. The Pirate Cruncher is one of my favourite books I liked the Jolley Rogers a lot so seeing them come together was really nice. I liked Squawk the best because he kept repeating whatever his owners were saying I liked this book a lot and I would recommend it to those who want to read a long story

This book is a fiction book. My favourite character was the old fiddler because he made up very funny songs. I would recommend this book to someone else because it is really funny and adventurous.

If you like sea monster stories I recommend you read this as you might like to draw it, it might also inspire you to make a treasure hunt

I liked the Monster's Gold because the monster had certain fears of things, including a giant parrot and that really made me laugh. The monster writes a letter to the pirates, letting them know to visit his island, where they will find gold, but he wants to eat them! This was a good adventure.
