I really liked this book because the meerkat was helping others along the way, showing kindness. In the end, the lion and meerkat crossed the finish line together without giving up. This was our favourite part of the book. Our favourite character was the meerkat. I would really recommend this book to young ones. This is a fantastic way to teach kids life lessons.

It was really cool because at first he didn’t know if he could do it. First he rode the turtle but it was so slow. Then, when he saw the elegant he said “I know just what to do.” Then when they were running the race they saw Kangaroo was stuck. Meerkat knew just what to do. He told the elephant to use his trunk to lift the tree. Then he got in kangaroo’s pouch and they won the race!

This book is one of the best books I have read! This book was good because it was about a meerkat in a marathon but he helped other animals and they helped him get to the finish line.
