Holly Sparkes is just your average 12-year-old, that is, until she’s hit by a bolt of lightning. Now Holly is EXTRAordinary.
Like a human battery Holly can generate a massive amount of electricity in seconds, which could come in handy if she’s ever going to solve the mystery of her best friend’s disappearance. Because when you’re dealing with the likes of Professor Macavity and her mysterious CyberSky corporation, you need all the help you can get!
This exciting story includes black-and-white graphic novel style illustrations.

It was about a girl who got struck by lightning but she didn't die. Instead it gave her superpowers which meant that she could zap things with electricity. And she had to save her friend Imogen from Professor Macavity's evil plan to take over the world.

It was awesome, I loved how it was part story, part comic. There was one part that really grossed me out, it was when Holly's phone broke and there was this living white worm inside!

This was an exciting story, because it was about a normal girl who thinks she's just normal but then she gets a super power. It was also a bit sad because her best friend was being mean to her and she didn't know why. My favourite character was Holly, who became Electrigirl, because she learns how to use her powers and she comes to really like them. I would recommend it to a friend because it has a lot of adventure in and the comic bits are really good.
