The Bolds are a family of hyenas living as humans in a suburban house. But now their kindness to animal waifs and strays has become legendary – more and more animals keep turning up to stay! Roger the sheep flocks to their house, and Fifi the poodle turns up to learn some new tricks, whilst Sheila the crocodile decides to stay for a while.
But have the Bolds bitten off more they can chew when they take in a couple of race horses who are on the run?

This book was amazing. I loved it so much. I couldn't put the book down. It's very funny. I like every characters in this book. I would recommend this book to age 7+.

The balls book is a very nice book and also there's quite a few scary parts in it. And a lot of different animals come to one house, which is where the hyenas live. And the hyeenas are called the bolds

It is a great book. It has adventure and humour as genre. I story really makes you feel like you are there and part of it. It has clear explanations of how the other animals got there. I recommend it for people who like to have some humour in their reading books

I think Miranda the monkey was my favourite character The book was fiction and very funny My favourite part is when at the very end a cow puts his head over the hedge and made the twins jump

I thought this book was good because it is very funny and it about the Bold having a house full of animals and a safe place for animals in danger and you can’t stop laughing I would recommend reading this book

what I like about this book is that everyone in it is very funny .My favourite character in this book is Miranda the Monkey because... 1-she always makes me laugh [even in all the other bolds books] 2- she is very cute
